Hey, I tried making a video on this (and would still love to) but got stuck. Quick question, I got the handle, the blade, wire, hook, generator, cloth, igniter. I could not find anything else to proceed, now near the cave where you find the persons hand, there is some thorn bushes down and to the left. Are you supposed to be able to use the blade to cut those? It tells me C to use the tool on it, but I get no prompt, nor can I use the blade on them. It may be something else that I am missing but I have tried every other combo I can think of and cannot find any other tools in the three areas I can access and cannot burn the logs yet (to my knowledge again, may be something simple I am missing on my part) but am loving the game and would like to complete a video on it =)
Hello! You should indeed be able to cut the thorns, but not with the blade alone; you need to craft a gadget using the blades and the handle/port, then interact with the thorns with the new gadget in hand. (You can close & reopen the inventory and it should save your current gadget. Also, you can hit disassemble at any point to return the components to your inventory.)
Admittedly our instructions didn't explain the crafting very well, but to make gadgets, you just have to drag the component items you want into the big dark section of the inventory and hit 'mix'. Let me know if this helps you progress.

Oh I did not mean the blade alone sorry haha. I did make the handleport and blade and got through the first set of vines, that is how I made it to the hook and wire, and the cave to the left. In the second area to the left though there was a second set of vines, I will make a gif or pic of where I am talking about in a sec
Is that supposed to be cuttable? Or was I on the wrong idea all along. Thats where I cannot cut
Oh, no worries! My bad for forgetting the progression path for a sec. Yes, that's cuttable, but it also requires you use another gadget to clear the darkness first; maybe there's another component/area you can access that you haven't found yet?
